NITDA is the clearing house for IT projects in Nigeria, thus we are the implementers of the Nigerian IT Policy. Under the framework of the Nigerian IT Policy we have developed various Frameworks, Policies Standards and Guidelines for the development of Information technology in the public and private sector.

Regulatory Standards & Guidelines on IT uses in the education sector: This framework focuses on guidelines for the educational sector and the use of IT within it.
The Nigerian Standards Framework of Nigeria: Information Technology, just like any other discipline is guided by standards that ensure uniformity and regulation of IT infrastructure, software, web solutions and all other IT related aspect. This document focuses on open and proprietary standards for IT in the public and private domain.
The Computer Network Architecture Standards (COMNAS) Framework: Available records show that “Establishing and Managing Government-wide Computer Networks and Security" provides an overview of guidance given in the five parts of the BS ISO/IEC 18028 standard, including network security risks faced by modern infrastructures using LANs, WANs, wireless, broadband and VPNs as well as internet security.
