Mr. Ibrahim Z.B. TIZHE - NITDA Governing Board

He was born on 28th February, 1960 in Bazza, Michika Local Government Area Adamawa State.

While in the Bank, he rose from the Rank of Manager in 1993 to Assistant General Manager in 2009, a position he holds up to date and, at various times, worked in Information Technology, Human Resources ,Credit Administration, Branch Administration Departments and Information Systems Audit Unit of the Bank. In between these periods, however, he was on leave of absence to the Afri-Projects Consortium where served as a consultant on IT from 1987-1988 and another leave to Adamawa State Government where he served as the Personal Assistant to the Governor from 1999-2007. While in Adamawa, Tizhe spearheaded the computerization of government operations during which government saved millions of Naira every month from eliminated ghost workers, a proceed which was used in providing employment to almost two thousand unemployed graduates at various levels.

He served in the National Executive Council (NEC) of the Nigerian Computer Society (NCS) as Assistant Secretary General and 2nd Vice-President for two terms each and as 1st Vice-President for one term over a span of ten years. He was elected the President and Chairman of Council of Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria) in 2009.

Tizhe is married to Grace and blessed with three children – Wankada, Nyitamka and Fatima.

He loves travelling, reading and networking with people.
