The National Information Technology Development Agency has commissioned its first Rural Information Technology Centre (RITC) in Nassarawa. The project, the first of its kind, is geared towards bridging the digital divide between the rural and urban areas in the country. The ceremony which took place on the 13th of February, 2008 was held at Alhaji Ahmed Hassan II MFR, the Emir of Nasarawa’s Palace.
